Munich is a city known as a city with a real village feel to it and is becoming a real X-pat city with many famous and not so famous people buying or renting and living in Munich as it’s become a real hip city. It has got all sophistication of big city but on a smaller and more friendlier scale.
It is a delightful city to walk around and whilst is comparatively small compared with some it has got enough to keep most tourists exploring for weeks (You could spend a week in Deutsche's Museum alone)
It is very green city with broad tree lined boulevards, big squares & well-kept parks. Getting around the city is fairly easy as well you out like others, & whilst Munich is city on smaller scale, it for instance has superb contemporary transport system. There is something that is going on at Munich and at all time of year as well, so you can visit any time of year & have lots to see as well as visit.
